At Time to Reflect Counselling, we believe that life’s later years can be filled with growth, reflection, and fulfilment. Our mission is to create a safe, understanding environment where older adults can address their emotional and psychological needs, whether they’re dealing with loss, life transitions, or simply seeking a deeper sense of purpose and connection.

We understand the complexities of ageing and the importance of having a space where you can reflect on your life’s journey, explore your current challenges, and look ahead with hope and confidence.

Meet Jules

Dip. Counselling MBCAP (Reg)

Jules is dedicated to helping clients find peace and resilience in the face of life’s inevitable challenges.

I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor and registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)

As well as working privately as a counsellor in Yateley, Hampshire and online, I also work within a Counselling agency in Wokingham, Berkshire providing counselling support services to adults and young people.

I have always been curious about people and their stories. Every one of us is a complicated mix of where we have come from and our lived experiences are all unique to us as individuals, with no two people's experiences being the same.

My journey into counselling began more than 20 years ago, when I completed a foundation course in counselling. I loved everything about it and knew that I wanted to eventually re-train as a counsellor. Unfortunately, at the time I was not in the position to make this career change, however I worked in Human Resources for the best part of 20yrs, a career where often listening skills and empathy were at the forefront of my work. I also worked for a charity supporting disabled athletes and disability sports clubs and these experiences have challenged me in different ways, but the thing I valued most is the variety of people I have met and supported along the way.

As a qualified Counsellor, Person Centred theory lies at the heart of my approach, which means that you decide what you bring to each session, you're in the driving seat and I'm the passenger on your journey with you. I offer empathy, acceptance, and genuineness, so that together we can explore what is troubling you. My training also allows me to draw on a breadth of other approaches (see ‘Counselling - What to Expect’ ).

Meet Jane

Dip. Counselling MBCAP (Reg)

I am an experienced and qualified integrative counsellor, and a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). Alongside my private practice in Wokingham and Egham, I work for two counselling agencies offering emotional support to adults of all ages.

I believe that we all have the ability to work through our own problems. Sometimes however, we may need extra support to do so. Our feelings can be confusing at times, and it may be difficult to know why we are feeling the way we do, and how we can help ourselves. This is where a trained counsellor can help, by offering a supportive and non-judgmental relationship and a safe space, to enable you to explore and understand what is going on for you, and to feel empowered moving forward.

I love my work and am committed to helping my clients feel heard, understood and supported with whatever issue is troubling them. I believe that each person is a unique individual. What one person may find difficult to cope with may not be an issue for another. For this reason I use a combination of therapeutic approaches to tailor my work to the client’s individual needs. Please see ‘Counselling – What to Expect’ for more information.
